How to choose a Facebook scheduler

Facebook is the most widely supported network in this directory, so the decision is rarely about whether a tool supports it and more about what else you need. Meta Business Suite is free and perfectly adequate if you only post to Facebook and Instagram. Third-party schedulers earn their fee when you add more networks, need approvals, or want inbox and reporting in the same place.

Group posting has been restricted by Meta and is now rare; if you rely on it, confirm support before paying.

Frequently asked questions

Is there a free Facebook scheduler?

Meta Business Suite is free and includes scheduling, a shared inbox and basic insights for Facebook and Instagram. Buffer, Publer and Metricool also include Facebook on their free plans.

Can I schedule posts to Facebook Groups?

Meta removed most third-party Group publishing in 2024. A few tools still support it for groups you administer; check the profile page for the current status.

Can schedulers publish Facebook Reels and Stories?

Most of the larger tools publish Reels directly. Story support is more limited and often restricted to plain photos or videos.
