Free plans fall into three groups. Vendor free tiers (Buffer, Metricool, Publer, Zoho Social) limit channels and queued posts but are stable and supported. Platform-native tools (Meta Business Suite, Pinterest, YouTube Studio) are free with no limits but only cover their own network. Open-source tools (Postiz, Mixpost) are free if you host them yourself, which costs a few dollars a month in server fees and some setup time.
Buffer allows three channels on its free plan; Publer allows three accounts; Metricool allows one brand with several networks. Self-hosted Postiz and Mixpost have no channel limits.
The ones listed here are, at the time of writing. Vendors do tighten limits over time, so the date each listing was last checked is shown on the profile.
If you are comfortable running a Docker container, yes: Postiz and Mixpost give you unlimited channels for the cost of a small server. Expect to maintain updates yourself.
