Our verdict
Buffer is the tool we recommend first to anyone who does not already know what they need. The composer is the cleanest in the category, the queue model is easy to understand, and the free plan covers three channels with ten posts each, which is enough to run a small personal brand.
Per-channel pricing is the catch. Three channels on Essentials cost $18 a month; ten channels cost $60, which is more than flat-rate competitors like Publer or Metricool. Analytics are thin and there is no inbox, so larger teams usually outgrow it.
