Our verdict
Hootsuite is the safe choice for large teams that need a unified inbox, social listening and the paperwork that comes with enterprise procurement. The dashboard has been rebuilt over the last few years and is far less cluttered than it used to be, and OwlyWriter AI is a competent assistant.
The problem is price. The cheapest plan is $99 a month for one user, with no free tier, and the features that distinguish Hootsuite (listening, advanced analytics) sit on higher tiers or add-ons. Small teams get the same scheduling for a fifth of the cost elsewhere.
